Food products are very important for the population, as there are currently great difficulties with the importation of products due to constant shelling. The team of the charity foundation “Support Kherson” also came under shelling with cluster shells during the unloading of aid – they had to wait in shelters. There they had the opportunity to communicate with the local population and learn how almost six months of occupation passed for them.
Mostly elderly people remained in the village. There were significant problems with food (about 4 months) For example, some grandparents did not eat bread, consuming mainly boiled potatoes, which they did not even have the opportunity to fry due to lack of oil.
They were glad to hand over help to the brave Vysokpilians. They waited for their victory and began to rebuild the village.
By the way, mainly elderly women helped to unload food products, since men are constantly involved in the reconstruction of the village, which suffered and continues to suffer significant destruction due to shelling.
But despite everything, my team and I will continue to help our native Kherson region and bring our joint victory closer!
