As part of the project “Ukraine Response Consortium: Providing Multi-Sector Humanitarian Assistance to Conflict-Affected Populations in Ukraine (2023-2024),” firewood distribution took place in the village of Velyka Oleksandrivka in the Kherson region. From October 12 to 16, 2024, a total of 180.24 cubic meters of firewood was provided to 24 households that are most in need due to the lack of gas supply.

Each family received 7.5 cubic meters of firewood, which will help them endure the cold months in warmer and more comfortable conditions. The firewood delivery was pre-arranged, and assistance was provided to registered beneficiaries affected by the full-scale invasion.
