The closest friend of our team, who long before the creation of the Charity Fund “Support Kherson” was there and helped in everything he could – President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Musical Events UAME, co-founder of Music Saves UA Oleksandr Sanchenko 
In the occupation, it is very easy to understand who is your friend and who is your enemy. My team and I started our underground activities back then: we carried out civil resistance and helped with food packages. And despite the distance, Sashko is one of the few people who supported and helped at that moment.
Somehow, during a friendly conversation, when I had already evacuated to Kyiv, we came up with the idea of creating a fund.
As they say: the hardest thing is to start. But when there is support from relatives and friends, everything will work out.
Since then and until now, you have been helping us and supporting the people of Kherson. Every word on this flag is written with soul. Kherson Oblast’s gratitude to you is boundless
